      The mission of the Grimes County Republican Party is to inform the citizens what Republicans stand for, to be a positive part of the community, and to elect more Republicans to office at the county level, statewide and nationally.  It is our belief that most Americans share our ideals.  We hold family to be of utmost importance in the strength of our nation.  We believe that the kindest and most freeing thing one can do for another is to help him or her to be able to provide for himself or herself and their families.  We believe the government should be answerable to the people, and that it should work toward efficiency so that taxes can be kept to a minimum.  We also believe that the scope or reach of government should be as small as possible and less intrusive on citizens lives.  We invite you to join us at our meetings, even if you don’t identify yourself as a Republican.  If you place importance on the same things we do, we encourage you to help us make our country a better place for our children and grandchildren and for future generations.

     Our regular monthly meetings are the first Monday of the month unless a holiday causes us to postpone it for a week.  We meet in our county seat, Anderson, at 7 PM in the commissioners courtroom.  For further information please call 936/894-3017.
